1. Introduction

Welcome to Mountainview Travel and Tours. These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of our services. By accessing and booking our services, you accept these terms and conditions in full. Do not continue to use Mountainview Travel and Tours if you do not agree to all of the terms and conditions stated on this page.

2. Booking and Payment

  • 2.1 Booking Process: To book a tour/package with us, please contact us directly via WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, or email. We will provide you with the latest and most precise information, as updates may not yet be reflected on our website.
  • 2.2 Information Required: For flight bookings, please provide passport details, travel destination and dates, and the number of travelers in your party.
  • 2.3 Customization: We offer the ability to customize itineraries and tour packages based on your preferences and requirements.
  • 2.4 Payment Methods: We accept various payment methods including direct online payments and credit cards. We are also exploring financing options through Gem Visa, QCard, ZIP pay, and Afterpay. Philippine-based clients can choose to pay via GCash, M. Lhuillier, bank cash transfer, over-the-counter bank transfer, and other available payment options.

3. Cancellation and Changes

  • 3.1 Cancellation Policy: Each tour package has its own cancellation and refund policy, which will be clearly outlined in the package details we provide. For flight bookings, the cancellation and refund policy varies based on the chosen flight options. These specifics will be discussed with you at the time of booking.
  • 3.2 Changes to Bookings: Requests for changes to your booking will be handled on a case-by-case basis and may be subject to additional fees

4. Visa Assistance

  • 4.1 Service Scope: We offer visa application assistance for Philippine-based clients covering a wide range of countries including the USA, Europe, various Asian countries, and more. A full list of countries we can assist with is available on our Visa Assistance page.

5. Tours Offered

  • 5.1 Group and Private Tours: We offer both group tours and private/customized tours. For customized tours, please allow approximately two weeks for us to tailor the best package specifically for you.

6. Liability

  • 6.1 Travel Risks: Travel involves inherent risks. Mountainview Travel and Tours is not responsible for any injury, loss, or damage to person or property resulting from any act of God, dangers, incident to travel by air, sea, or other means, or from government acts or customs regulations, terrorism, or from any other circumstances beyond our control.
  • 6.2 Third-party Services: We act as agents for hotels, transportation companies, and other service providers and do not accept responsibility for any loss, damage, or injury resulting from their services.

7. Contact Information

  • 7.1 Customer Support: If you have any questions before or during your trip, please contact us via WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, or Email. We also recommend downloading our travel app for convenient access to your flight information.

8. Changes to Terms

  • 8.1 Amendments: Mountainview Travel and Tours reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. Your continued use of our services after any changes signifies your acceptance of the new terms.

9. Governing Law

  • 9.1 Jurisdiction: These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the country in which Mountainview Travel and Tours operates, and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that country.

By booking with Mountainview Travel and Tours, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

1. General Information

1.1 These Terms and Conditions govern the use of services provided by Mountainview Travels and Tours Limited ("the Company") for the New Zealand South Island Tour Package ("the Tour").

1.2 By booking the Tour, you ("the Client") agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

2. Booking and Payment

1.1 A deposit of $299 USD is required to secure your booking. The deposit is non-refundable.

2.2 The balance payment must be made in four equal instalments within two months from booking through a valid credit card, debit card or bank transfer if travel date is more than three months from booking date. The payments will be automatically paid from the credit or debit card supplied. If travel date is within three months from booking, full payment is required.

2.3 Failure to make the balance payment on time may result in cancellation of the booking without refund.

3. Cancellations and Refunds

3.1 Cancellations made by the Client must be in writing and are subject to the following cancellation charges:

50% of the total cost if cancelled more than 90 days before departure.

75% of the total cost if cancelled between 60 and 90 days before departure.

No refund if cancelled less than 60 days before departure.

3.2 The Company reserves the right to cancel the Tour in case of force majeure or any other reason beyond our control. In such cases, a full refund will be provided.

4. Changes to the Itinerary

4.1 The Company reserves the right to make changes to the itinerary if necessary due to unforeseen circumstances.

4.2 Any changes will be communicated to the Client as soon as possible.

5. Travel Insurance

5.1 Travel insurance is mandatory for all Clients. The insurance must cover personal injury, medical expenses, repatriation, and cancellation.

5.2 The Client is responsible for purchasing their own travel insurance and providing proof of coverage.

6. Health and Safety

6.1 The Client is responsible for ensuring they are in good health and physically fit to participate in the Tour.

6.2 The Company is not liable for any health issues or injuries sustained during the Tour.

7. Liability

7.1 The Company is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury caused by circumstances beyond our control.

7.2 The Client agrees to release the Company from any liability related to the Tour, including but not limited to delays, accidents, or changes to the itinerary.

8. Governing Law

8.1 These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New Zealand.

8.2 Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Zealand.

9. Acceptance of Terms

By booking the Tour, the Client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
